Un omaggio a Serge Gainsbourg (b.1928-d.1991), artista poliedrico francese che ci ha lasciato quasi vent'anni fa. La sua carriera lo vide come attore, come regista, musicista, paroliere, poeta e pittore: Coinvolgendo la gente attorno a lui riuscì a proporre un nuovo modo di pensare che si trasfuse alla gente, che tutt'ora lo ricorda. Qui si ripropone un disco tributo essenziale da ascoltare, anche solo per introdursi  a ciò che Gainsbourg fece in passato. La prima canzone - A song for a sorry angel - viene cantata dai Franz Fredinand assieme alla seconda moglie di GAinsbourg, Jane Birkin (la prima fu Brigitte Bardot)
